Kitchen Design Reveal
Traditional shaker-style cabinets were paired with honed marble countertops for the perimeter of the kitchen to create a timeless foundation, while un-lacquered brass hardware brought in an element of vintage charm. For the island I chose a leathered black quartzite with a dark stained wood. I wanted the island to feel like an antique furniture piece. To keep the look fresh, we added contemporary light fixtures and carefully selected accessories that give the space a modern edge.
One of my favorite elements is the textured plaster range hood, which adds a subtle yet sophisticated layer of texture to the room. And, in keeping with the old-world vibe, I chose a unique pot filler— and this one is designed specifically for coffee lovers! Every detail was chosen with care, and the result is a kitchen that feels special, personalized, and ready for daily use.
Although this space may not be large, it now functions beautifully, thanks to a mix of classic aesthetics and smart design solutions. I hope this kitchen provides some inspiration for those looking to achieve a balance between beauty and practicality, no matter the size of the space.
