Kitchen Design Reveal

The day has finally come to reveal the months of thought and design that went into creating this kitchen. From the start, I envisioned a space that would feel warm, classic, and curated with a modern twist, blending both style and practicality. Every decision was made with the goal of maximizing functionality in this modest-sized kitchen, while also creating a timeless and beautiful design.

This kitchen isn't a large space, so one of my top priorities was optimizing storage and efficiency without compromising beauty. I worked hard to ensure every square inch was thoughtfully designed to enhance the room's functionality. We didn’t change the footprint of the space, but by utilizing smart design solutions, I was able to maximize both storage and usability.

Traditional shaker-style cabinets were paired with honed marble countertops for the perimeter of the kitchen to create a timeless foundation, while un-lacquered brass hardware brought in an element of vintage charm. For the island I chose a leathered black quartzite with a dark stained wood. I wanted the island to feel like an antique furniture piece. To keep the look fresh, we added contemporary light fixtures and carefully selected accessories that give the space a modern edge.

One of my favorite elements is the textured plaster range hood, which adds a subtle yet sophisticated layer of texture to the room. And, in keeping with the old-world vibe, I chose a unique pot filler— and this one is designed specifically for coffee lovers! Every detail was chosen with care, and the result is a kitchen that feels special, personalized, and ready for daily use.

Although this space may not be large, it now functions beautifully, thanks to a mix of classic aesthetics and smart design solutions. I hope this kitchen provides some inspiration for those looking to achieve a balance between beauty and practicality, no matter the size of the space.
